This was a fun little car to polish. All it needed was a wash, clay, light polishing, and a good LSP. I chose Danase Wet Glaze because I thought it would look good on this color. Boy does it ever!

Very nice wet looking paint! What kind of durability have you seen or expect with DWG? I always top it with a sealant or nuba.

Durability doesn't matter much to me in the summer on vehicles I maintain on a regular basis. I'm never going to go long enough without adding another coat to ever know how long it lasts before it falls off. I usually try to keep a fresh layer of sealant or wax on the car every three weeks. It has been about 8 weeks since I last did that S65, so I used a paint cleaner and removed whatever was left of the Wolfgang before I applied DWG. I'll be back in a couple weeks to put another coat on. I'd like to see what the height of appearance is for DWG. I know Wolfgang looks best with three coats, Klasse SG looks best with five, Four Star UPP looks best with 4, etc, but the Danase products are still new territory for me and I want to see what they can do. ;) In the summer I look at durability as a secondary thing. Appearance is king when the weather is nice. Durability is something I worry about starting in October when it cools down and winter prep starts.

Great work, that AMG look great! I too use DWG as a topper more often than a glaze. On my GF's car I alternate coats of FK1 1000P and DWG. It looks nice!

It's a Blackberry Pearl. I'm actually shocked at the quality of picture it takes sometimes. It isn't bad for a little camera phone. There was a smudge on the lens that caused the pictures to not turn out great. When I have a clean lens they look pretty darn good IMO.

Process on white paint please. So I can do that to my truck.

Have you seen the vehicles after the detail?? How's the durability for a glaze? I'm not sure I would trust that as my LSP

Why not? Unless you are looking for something to last you for months and months, then why not just use what is the best looking and take care of the upkeep later? I've been using this product on my Pilot for several months now and I'd say the durability is as good as any wax out there. I'm sure it is nowhere comparible to a sealant, but when beauty right now matters more than durabilty later, this is a great choice. I would recommend reapplying it every five or six weeks for best results, but it is a good product either way.

Are you detailing these cars every 5 - 6 weeks? I don't know about the people in your area but the ones here want something that looks nice and will last and protect for a while. Now for show cars or personal vehicles I can see using a less durable LSP but not for a customer's everyday vehicle. Any LSP is going to look great after proper polishing so you might as well satisfty the customers with prolonged durabilityas well... JMO

Most of these cars I am detailing every month, so I'm not too worried about it. Honestly though... a product that will protect for months and months and months is bad for business. One of the first rules of marketing a product is to pick something that wears out or runs out. Using Wet Glaze is like buying the 16 ounce bottle of Ranch Dressing while using something like Danase Paint Sealant is like buying the gallon jug of it. I sort of want them to run out so they have a reason to call me back. ;) I've got plenty of long lasting products to use, but sometimes they want the instant gratification and beauty of a nice carnauba or a glaze like this.
