Hey guys, I know there is alot of topics on this already but just want to know if I can apply dwg everyone month before I wax. Is there any prepping I have to do before applying dwg?

If you apply it by hand you should be alright. Personally, I recommend stripping the wax and starting from scratch instead of having a ton of wax layers.

Should I strip the wax every month before dwg and waxing?

I would. I am not a fan of having a bunch of layers of products. Too many layers can actually hurt the clarity of the paint.

This may sound like a stupid question, and I have not looked, but what is the safest way to remove wax.

Old wax that has been on the vehicle or wax residue that has been freshly applied?

Was this in response to my post or someone else's post?

Yours Just wanting to clarify if you are wanting to know how to remove old wax that has ran it course on your paint or if you are applying new wax and was wondering which microfiber to use?

old wax that has run its course. I am going to be winterizing my cars. I have the Danase PS on order and would like to do things right before the cold.

If you are going to polish before the sealant then that will remove it or you can use a paint cleaner(chemical cleaner instead of abrasive). Klasse AIO is a good one and I think Four Star makes a paint conditioner. Also a light polish like Danase Swirl Abolisher 1 will do too. Are you working by hand or machine?

I will be working by machine. I will be using a swirl remover. Does this swirl remover remove the wax?

I am using this process on my car this next week.

Wash/Remove Tar
Clay
Wash
Swirl Remover
Polish
Sealant
Wax

You will be good with this process. Just think swirl remover is taking away a little paint so the wax is definately going too.
