No pics yet.. sorry guys.

After what feels like a very long time (only a month or so) I got to detail the Bimmer.. It's a black car and we all know how those are. The 11 yr old paint is in good condition just a lot of small scratches and a ton of rock chips of course.

I washed the car with Shining Monkey wash and used Poorboys Spray and Rinse on the wheels and tires. Then the paint work began..

I started out with Poorboys SSR3 and went down to SSR2 and then Poorboys Professional Polish. Then a coat of Poorboys EX-P and topped it off with a coat of Nattys.

The interior got the full Poorboys Natural Look treatment and the leather was cleaned and conditioned with Four Star products. Windows were done with Stoners Invisible glass.

I finished the tires off with a coat of Stoners More Shine less Time for Tires.

Sounds like an advertisement for Danase doesn't it??? :-D Well, when Bob and I say we use these products on our cars, we ain't kidding.

I did find that SSR3 seems to not be abrasive enough.. I have many small scratches that appear to have been caused by a mechanic's belt rubbing on the fender that I could not get out despite really really working them over with the PC, yellow pad and SSR3. I'm going to have to do some looking to find something that can deal with these scratches.

4000 grit sandpaper might help you out.

Powergloss on my rotary makes SSR3 on the PC look like childs play

hey Brad
You can even come over and give the Makita/PG a try if you want, or I can give it a try, assuming you have enough paint left on your 11 yr old car.

I actually have access to a rotary... of course I didn't think about it until I was done. My roommate used to work for a body shop and has all kinds of cool crap that I forgot about!
