View Full Version : Site Changes...
We will be switching from phpbb to V Bulletin soon. The forums will look different but I think most of you are familiar with V Bulleting so it shouldn't be a problem.
Also, I wanted to let everyone know that danaseforums.com will work still but I am going to have a new url I will be promoting the site with. That url will be detailingforums.com More generic and not just certered around the danase name.

You should have your web guy put up a coming soon page before you get too many visitors to the new address. It links some of your competitors now. :o
Yeah, I saw that....I'll fix it as a temp.

Cool, that should bring some more activity over here. What would be the terms someone would enter in google to find a detailing forum .... "Detailing Forums" is what I'd search for (but I'm sure you were banking on that). I'm excited to see the new look. What's the time table for the new forum?
Thanks!
The new forum time table is maybe two weeks? Brad, who is doing the work, just got a new place and will be moving this week or else I am sure it would be done this week.

Nice url grab there Bob. I would have thought that would have been taken. That should definately increase traffic here. Now only if they will join. lol Can't wait to see the change.
I thought it would of been too! LOL The forums are installed and Brad is going to try and switch everything over next week some time. I'll try and give you guys a heads up before hand.
Awesome! Thanks and congrats, Bob!

Great Bob!
Sounds like a sweet plan Bob!! I can't believe that URL wasn't taken either, haha. Just don't pretend that detailingforums.com is totally unbiased...like certain other forums pretend ;)
Thanks!
And so everyone knows. Please don't sign up to the new forums. Everything will be deleted from there and everything from these forums is just going to transfer over.

If you are looking for a theme selection with vbulletin look at detailingbliss.com. It is a really classy looking site although the text could be a shade lighter and very easy on the eyes.
Thanks bunky!
Also, once the new forums are up and running I need you guys to help spread the word of the new forums. :)

Other detail forums are talking about the fact that you're leaving Autopia. Usually there is mention that you have your own site and forum.
You picked a good time for the changes here since your name is getting a bump in popularity elsewhere.
