Since I had good luck getting the laptop sold in like a day, I figured I'd throw this out there too. It is a really rare (because it was discontinued several years ago) Timberline knife. Apparantly the design was patented by someone and Timberline ripped it off. There was this big lawsuit that Timberline lost and they had to stop making the knife. Any pieces still on display were pulled and only the people who had bought one before the lawsuit were able to keep them. I bought one with a partial serrated edge and absolutely love it. Then something happened and the spring broke in it and the blade just swings loose in the housing. I bought this one a couple years ago thinking that I could just take the blade out and replace it with my serrated one. Well, that is harder than it sounds I guess and it wasn't possible to do. While cleaning out some space in my basement I found it.

I've never cut anything with it. The whole knife is absolutely brand new in appearance. Here are some pictures as well as a video of the action on this knife. It is by far one of the fastest assisted opening knives I've ever seen or used. It can easily be opened and closed with one hand, and unlike other one handed knives, it is able to be closed without needing to hold it against your leg or something. You can close it with one hand out in free space if you wanted. Anyway, check it out.

Here is the YouTube video of the knife in action. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jjXiQ_VwU0) Somewhere I read that the lock on this knife will hold 500 pounds, so it is a very tough locking mechanism. When I bought it they were going for about $120. Now if you can find them they sell for $150 - $180. I'm asking $80 shipped if you are interested. I was going to put it on ebay, but I thought I'd throw it out here. One handed automatic knives like this are a ton of fun and very useful. Having the tanto point is even more useful and I used my other one to take stickers off windows a number of times. I'm sure whoever buys it will love it. I'd continue to use this one, but I bought a SOG Flash II that has a lock on it that I kind of like. With my curious kids it worries me to have a knife like this sitting around. It opens so fast that it could cause an injury if you didn't handle it right.

Very cool knife. I always had fun with my butter fly knife. The video almost makes me want to buy yours. lol

I go through spurts of bidding on ebay for a SOG Pentagon but no luck so far. I'll have to give it a go again soon. I really want a fixed blade. Good luck with the sale.

I love my butterfly knife. I bought a Benchmade knife at a swap meet years ago and that has been one of the best knives I ever bought. I love it. It just isn't the most practical knife to carry around. This one is smaller and a little easier to explain in your pocket. lol The assisted open is way fun too. Flipping this thing open gives me the same endorphins as sliding in a full clip into a Glock. There's nothing else like it... Anyway, I'll give it a few days on here to see if anyone is interested and then I'll try my luck out in the world of crazy ebayers. :)
