Looks nice, very easy to use, but IMO durability isn't as great as I wanted. I think it is more for a garage queen. Plus I have other waxes that I reach for more and I am trying to lower my inventory to items I reach for most.

I have some of the Souveran paste wax. It brings out depth on reds, but I would have to agree with you on longevity.

I agree it looks great on paints. I just don't use it as much as I would have liked too.

I would like to try some, but not at that price. I have a red grand prix, and would love to bring out the red more, but not at that price.

Would Natty's Blue work better? I just ordered some 845 Collinite. That should help.

In waxes you can't get great durability and great looks. It's a give and take replationship :). With Souveran, you get a great show car wax but beading and slickness falls off very fast. With Collinite, you get great durability but the look could be better. Natty's Red looks great (especially on red and solid colors) and definitely lasts longer than Souveran (I've had it on for 2 months and it's still going strong).

BTW $50 for Souveran used once is a heck of a deal ...

I agree Budman. I thought it is a good price too. All I hear is that AG has it for $60. Yeah sure but you have to buy more to get it shipped free or pay shipping.

If I didn't have almost a full jar I'd jump on it. No, Souveran is not known for longevity, but it is one heck of a great looking wax, especially on red and blacks.

Souveran is what I sorta consider a "car show" wax. Put it on before a show and WOW. Plus it's such a joy to apply and remove..... kind of like soft butter. You won't have any problems selling it, AG won't have it at $60 for very long.

AG is having a ton of sales from now until Christmas. I had to hide my CC :). But this is an addiction so anything can happen.

Russecu- you won't be stuck with the wax ... if all else fails I can buy it. Not that I need it ... but you know, addiction :).

My DSL modem died at home, and there is no way I am putting my Paypal password into the computer here at work. Otherwise I'd take it. Like budman said, not that I need it, it's the addiction. lol

Is there a difference between the paste and the liquid? Can I use this over another wax, and try to get the best of both waxes, Durability and Depth?

Liquid Souveran looks best on lighter colors making them look brighter. Souveran paste, as stated above looks its best on black and red. Spray Souveran is a spray wax which will boost durability and looks over a waxed or unwaxed surface. All three can be used over a sealant or wax, if you prefer, none contain any cleaners.

With the comments about not lasting long , how do you that are in the know feel about it on my garage kept black show car ? About the only time this car goes out is to a show , if the weather is nice .

IMO that is what it is perfect for. If its something thats exposed to the elements 24/7 or even garaged just at night then durability falls quickly. If its a show car this stuff is so easy to use before a show and the looks are great then its awesome. You apply thinly to panel and wipe off. Thats my problem I don't have a show car/garage queen and I don't maintain one so I don't get to use it that often or find no need to if its a daily driver. It is truly an awesome wax for red, black, or even yellow.

It's a pleasure to use and it will leave your black looking very deep and wet. Now is the time to buy it while it's on sale or if Russecu still has his for $50 shipped (killer deal).
