Soooo after a long hard look at moving to washington, I have decided to stick around michigan for a while. I am giving my ex the '03 Mazda 6s so she can go to school (she has no skills and was a stay at home wife).

I am looking for a fun toy that screams I am single :) and decided on a '91 Mistubishi 3000GT Vr-4. Anybody know of anyone for sale let me know.
If anybody knows anything specific I should be looking out for when I go check them out let me know :) (thats why I posted this under mechanical)

Anybody from Grand Rapids that can hook me up with someone that has one for sale there might be a little incentive in it for you too...well actually your vehicle ;) or that can hook me up with mechanical work for discounted prices.... I need a sign that says will detail for mechanical knowledge :)

I get to learn how ot do brakes this weekend, yes I have no idea how a car works beyond making it shiny and driving them. Sad yes- true-yes.

LOL, I actually have a post on there and someone recommended a good 3000gt forum so ... looks like I either A) learn to do repairs myself and hope nothing major goes wring on a TT model or spend $$ later on converting a N/A to a TT...hmmm decision decisions...anybody near sterling heights want to check out a car for me ??

Go with something meant to be TT from the factory. You will spend way too much turing an N/A car into a TT. :D

from everything I have read on 3si.org Buying a TT model is the way to go from the start....I wont have an extra $15K to convert
That was one guys cost. others have said $5-6K. Hmmm I got my eyes set on a mazda rx-7 and MX-6 too now.

There is a RX-7, older style, for sale right near me. The body is in iffy shape though.

Nobody ever said I was the smartest person in the world :) I like the challenge of RWD in winter. until I wreck it of course then I will be mad.

Nah I will probably have a cheapo winter beater so I can drive safely in the winter.
