I didn't have any plans for today except to relax and catch up on my DVR junk that has piled up. Then out of nowhere one of my regulars calls up and has three cars for me to do. I look at my watch and it is 1:00. Three cars??? Hmmm... How about just the exteriors? He was cool with that and I'll be back in two weeks to do them again as well as the interiors. I just got a couple pictures because all I had was a crappy camera my son plays with that is pretty broken. The biggest job was this '08 supercharged Range Rover. For only being five months old it was pretty hammered. Nothing the Swirl Abolishers and Danase Wet Glaze didn't fix up.

Mmmmmmm.... Nice and shiny. I'll post pictures of them again in two weeks when I have a better camera and I've been able to polish them all out. All I did on the other two was wash and throw on a coat of DWG. This guy loves his black cars and all three are black. He has another '08 Range Rover in white for his wife, and I'd say that is a good thing. She beats the hell out of the black Mercedes GL. Then again, he drives his S65 like it is a rental car that he borrowed from someone he doesn't like. lol Some people have too much money....

It took six hours to get the S65, GL, and Range Rover done. Most of the work was on that Range Rover, so it was pretty light duty. Still good for $300 though. I can't complain too much about that. :-)

Not too shabby...which Swirl Abolishers did you use? 2 and 1?

I actually got that with just 2. I spread it around and then kicked the PC up to 5 until it started to buff itself off. I was using an Edge blue pad, so I guess it just took care of its own haze. :) I had 1 with me just in case. Actually, he told me the cars had been used and abused, so I had all three. ;)

Here is the GL. I didn't get the S out into the sun to take a picture because his driveway started to fill up. It is a wonder to behold though. I've done it several times before and it is definitely a beasty machine. It only pushes about 750 HP out of its modified twin turbo V12. <insert drool here>

Wow I'm impressed that you managed that much correction with just the one step. I've got the sample set...guess I'll give them a shot on my girlfriend's car when I do the spring clean up.

Jeremy Clarkson tested out the Brabus Sl65 on Top Gear...sounded like a fire breathing dragon

His is modified by Renntech. It is a beast of a car. Definitely sounds dragonish. lol Here are some pictures from last summer.

Those pictuers are from before he pulled all the chrome off and had it painted black. He also put 22s on it and dropped it a bit more. Definitely a mistake considering he has bent all four rims at least once in the last year and has significant damage to one fender as well. The grill he had painted looks pretty rough right now too. He took this car on the Player's Run last year and even dust can chip your paint at 180mph, so it is pretty battered. He is getting the whole front end repainted this year before he sells it and gets something else. I wish I had enough money to get bored of my cars that quickly. lol He told me yesterday that he was tired of people staring at it.

Man that's a nice ride....So if he's not into people staring at his six figure ride I'm guessing there's no R8 in his future.

Guess he doesn't have paint protection film on the SL then?

Nope. No protection there. For as hard as he drives it and for as high as the chips are, he'd have to cover the whole hood in order to get any protection. I told him to just take it easier on the sucker. lol Oh well... If he didn't run them hard then I wouldn't have a job. This guy is reeeeeeeallllly good for business. I can track about $1200 a month that I made off of him or his referals last year alone. This month he is going to account for over $600 personally not including his business partners that I'll be meeting next week. The really sad thing is that he is only 28 years old!!! Where was my two hundred thousand dollar car when I was that age? lI was driving a (albeit very shiny) five year old Integra when I was that age. lol

lol....holy hell. Only chance I've got in seeing one of those in my driveway in the next 5 years is if I hit the lotto...twice. That or a couple of my very speculative stock picks take off like Microsoft or Apple (still kicking myself for not buying in at ~$7.00/share 5 years ago).

I'm glad he's good for business, hopefully his business partners are going to be the same way for you.

One is bringing his SLR back from Los Angeles later this month, so I'd say they are going to be good. :p
