What would you suggest I use on this chrome trim?

I haven't tried any of the SA line on chrome but think it would work good. I've used Meguiar's #80 on some chrome wheels and the results where amazing.
What paint polishes do you have in your stash? I would give one of the more mild ones a try on a small area.
On chrome plated plastic parts, I use Meguiar's M66 (cleaner-polish-wax). It's far more forgiving than chrome-specific products and leaves some protection.
I say this because I believe the trim you've shown on the Mark VIII is not metal, but plastic (if my memory is correct).

I have SA 1,2 and 3, Prima Cut, Swirl and Finish, DG 501

I would give the DG 501 a shot. Thats what I used on my bumper.

The trim is metal.
Should I get some 4" pads and use that with a PC and 501? or 501 by hand?

From what I can tell it looks like it needs a good cleaning. I would just try it by hand with a mf applicator or towel.

Definitely by hand.
