Bob,

Yeah. That was my last years fathers day gift. I only put like 300 miles on it last year. I am currently updating it a little bit with disc brakes, HEI and a couple of other things.

Yeah I got one, have you changed the pad composition of your CCS yellow foam pads at all

I have some older ones and they are firm but smooth, these new ones are gritty like edge foam

If this is the case, then foamed wool will be used instead because this new type sucks

I think what you really meant to say was, "it doesnt work for me, and I prefer the older composition, better".......?

There are 2 types of yellow cutting pads. The straight CCS DA version is different than the older flat yellow version.

Have you changed the CCS orange pads foam? The new ones seem pretty stiff. Maybe it's just because I have the 7/8" OEM pads.

LC makes a special green pad for Autogeek that is called a polish/finishing pad that is rated between between white and black. Is this a polishing pad for soft paints or certain cleaner/waxes?

Hey Guys,

Regarding the orange pad, nothing has changed. Foam is like bread and our foam is made to our specifications, but there are tolerances. There may be a chance some feels a bit stiffer than others, but it is within our specs.

The green soft pad would be used with polishes with mild abrasives, or cleaner waxes.

I hope this info helps.

Welcome Lake Country! I'm sure I'll have a few questions later on.

Is the new double sided ULTI-MIT Wash Mitt made exclusively for Autogeek? Other vendors only carry the single sided version.

The red double sided mitt was made for Autogeek.
