Hello,

I am new to this site and I am seeking advise on the best products to achieve a dripping wet, insanely glossy finish on my 2008GT500KR.

I have always owned and have great knowledge of what to use on black finished cars, but I am a rookie with Silver. Please help.

I was considering using the following.

1) pinnacle paint prep lotion
2) Zaino Z2 pro
3) Danase wet glaze
4) pinnacle sig series II wax
5) Jeffs Werkstatt sealant
6) Zaino z8 spray gloss enhancer

in that order

sealants don't bond optimally to waxes. Aways use a wax as the last step.

Personally I'd do:
Z2pro
DWG
Z8

I do like the look of Werkstatt's AJ on my reflex silver Jetta quite a bit. Other than DWG (which always helps enhance the look of any vehicle) I haven't used any of the other products you mentioned.

I know the car is new but sometimes the detailers at the dealers do not do the best jobs prepping the cars. I would check the paint and see if you can see any swirls or scratches.
Polish the car (if you have a PC or similar) I would recommend Danase Swirl Abolishers or Prima Swirl Some orange and white pads
When the car is polished and paint is corrected as needed then use some Ultimate Paint Guard Plus, Danase Wet Glaze 2x and again top with UPGP

If you want to use a Wipe on walk away product I'd suggest Opti-Seal or Zaino CS. Either are a better value than Ultima. Clay and polish for the best results.

So DWG is a good product that well not only look good but help with the bonding of a sealant like collinite 845?

The best looking paintwork starts with a proper polishing.. I have realized that the protection is just that, protection.... does it add nuances to the paintwork = yes BUT those nuances are best realized on properly finished paint

With that said I have tried quite a few products to get the best look on my silver metallic paintwork.. I had always heard that werkstatt looks great on silver.. I tried it and was less than impressed..

Thus far the products that looked best on my silver metallic are:

Duraloss 105
P21s 100%
Dodo Juice Supernatural

I know it is not the same but when I did my Pearl White car DG 501 topped with DG 111 really made the Pearl POP. Next time I am going to try 2x DWG then 111
