For those of you that tried to email me Monday and did not get a response, this is my excuse. Grattan Raceway.

It's definitely time for a larger bike. I was on my Ninja 250 and after my first 1-2 sessions I was already ready for a new bike. I love my 250 though because it gets 70 mpg! LOL A friend of mine is selling his 2003 SV 650 but it is more than what we want to spend on a new bike now. So I think I might try and get an older track bike and just keep my 250 for street riding and have a track bike for track only days.

Those pics where taken buy Brad at TheEdgeImages.com. I'll be ordering some from him this week. I'll also post mine when I get a chance to get them off the camera.

Edit: The picture might change as he is messing with the pictures online.

I'm on the red bike in case other pics show up. A black bike was showing a second ago, before I edited the post.

I've actually decided to get a dedicated track bike and found this bike for a song. I honestly wasn't looking to get one this soon but I'd of been dumb to pass up the deal on got on it. 1996 GSX-R 750. Here it is:

Wow. Now that is a sweet looking bike, man!! I can't wait to hear about your track time with it. I would love to have a dedicated track bike that could be tuned for that type of performance and then a bike that I don't have to worry about some clown cutting me off and wrecking it. Keep your daily drivers expendable and your weekend fun locked up in the garage. That's my motto. :) I'm jealous man!!

For the price I am getting this track bike for I could not go wrong. I'd of been goofy not to buy it. I should pick it up at the end of this week. I can't wait!

Bob-
You finally got leathers and went to the track without me! lol, looks like fun. I want to check out that 750 sometime too.

I went down to the Dragon in TN a couple weeks ago, with some people. Good roads, check it out:

It's a blast!

Sure thing man! The 750 is a beast for sure! I'm already planning a track day with it coming up in August.

Awesome pics! How was the trip?

I might have to stop by...is it still open track on saturdays? what day you thinking of being there? I have to swing through michigan and pick up some stuff this weekend. Grattan is only about 15 minutes away from my parents place :D

I don't know if they have open rack days or when they are. I know this weekend is Apex2Apex.net that rented the track and it's sponsored by DetroitSportbikes.com. Apex2Apex.net is an awesome group to run with with excellent instruction and instructors. If I go it will most likely be Saturday. If you are going to be around let me know or swing by the track man!

I wasnt sure if i wanted to drive to Michigan or not this weekend to see the parents and what not. I turned in the vacation slip yesterday just in case i wanted to go (working 7 days a week blows lol).
What time are you planning on being at the track?

*edit* I lied, work told me last night that im going to be working on saturday and sunday. sad day!
