Hello! Hows it going everyone? Im new (obviously) and thought I'd take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Scott and I love to detail my own car :D I havent really detailed a vehicle in over a year. I recently purchased a new car so the detail bug has got a hold of me yet again! Hope I can help out the community with some answers to questions. Looks like there is an all-star cast out on the forums :) Looking forward to meeting you all!

Im in madison, the kayser dealership emblem has been :rock: also. I just took a ride up your way the other day actually. I was in appleton. Got an extension cord i can borrow? im getting a clear bra installed tomorrow and i need to polish a couple little areas lol otherwise its gonna drive me nuts if i have to look at swirls under the C.B. lol I just got back from the body shop supply store and I lost some weight while there....about $116 worth of weight :rolleyes:

Cool! I get down to Madtown every now and again. My best friend lives down there. Of course he just got married a month ago so I'm not sure how much I'll get invited down now. lol

I have 200' of cord, but don't think that will reach Madison. lol

Good idea with the clear bra! That emblem was huge, good going taking if off. I try to stay out of those types of stores, I always seem to leave lighter and with stuff I really don't need.

heh, well 99.98% of my detailing stuff is in storage at my parents place lol I only have my trusty metabo and 1 raggedy LC polishing pad, a 4 inch backing plate and about 4 table spoons of menzerna FPII. Soooo i decided that the $41 dollar 3M backing plate would have to do and I got a few Ultrafina pads and a quart of Ultrafina. the pads were the only good priced thing lol $30 for two.
Im now wondering just how much polish im gonna be wearing after I try to pick up a line of it after not doing for over a year lol

^^ Thanks, I have loved the looks of them for a long time and when i was younger I wanted a 300zx really really bad lol. Its a fun car, its hard to get used to the staring everywhere I go lol. Everytime I get in to even go to blockbuster I smile when i start it up.
