Would anyone be interested in shirts? I would try and keep the price as low as possible and the money would be used to just pay for this sites growth and to advertise the site more.

Heck yes, I would take some. If they sell well, how about some banners also for my empty white garage walls? A nice banner with a nice car and the name of the forum would be nice. But we can start with the shirts.

Wow! I was expecting many to want some. I'm waiting to hear from my t-shirt guy and will keep you guys posted.
What I want is white shirts with JUST the car logo on the front upper chest and on the back the full logo across the back.

so when you say logo upper chest do you mean centered or on the left breast. I honestly think centered would be better. Plus I like your idea of keeping it simple and clean.
I would probably get one. :)
chris
It's going to be on the left breast of the shirt. We already have them on order. It will look good I think. I have a similar shirt from an exotic car dealership that works really well with the same sort of logo.

Maybe a little late in the idea game but how about a bowling style shirt (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&resnum=0&q=bowling%20shirt&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi)?
I like the tshirt idea too but I'm thinking more something a little more catchy for wearing around to car shows and such.

Good idea! We'll see about working on those if the t-shirts sell well. :)
ok everyone.... What sizes do you want so I can get these ordered. I'm ordering a handful for this first time run so if you need a specific size let me know. Price will be $15.00 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states. The money for the shirts will be used to put back into the site for the server fees and other misc. fees.

If you have a picture of what they will looking like it might help sales.
Thanks guys!
it's have a small logo on the front chest area in black and on the back it will look just like how the logo is now in black and red and white shirts.

Cool! Just let me know when you want the money. I think I have a small order for you anyway. (want to try some wool pads)
That just reminded me. I'm not going to sell these through the store, only on the forums. That way DF.com money and the business money stays separate. But I'll let you all know once they arrive. :)

Can you get these in different color T shirts?
Only white for now but maybe later we can do different colors. I have to order so many of each color and is why I just went with white for now.

Hey Bob, put me down for a XL if you get enough. The next run I'd really like to see grey shirts.
Got a batch coming!
We can do different colors next. The reason behind the white this time was because I figured it'd be cool for those that are out detailing in the heat is all.

The "ash" color are nice as they hide a little of the "uglys" that happen when detailing....

Any news on the shirts?
They should be to me today but the guy warned me that some of the logo bled together and might not look the best. If this is the case I'm already looking into digital printed shirts that won't have the bleed problem. But I'll know more when they arrive.

Can't wait.
They look awesome! When he said they bled he meant the "sponge" painting effect on the font makes it looks all solid. No big deal and I figured that. I thought he meant the letters bled together. I'll get pics and everything tonight.
