looking for a 4 barrel

im in the market for a good 4 barrel for a ford 351 modified. a 650 double pumper would be great, but anything reasonably priced would work for now. im currantly without wheels because of the junk carb thats on my truck, and im not gonna rebuild it again. i know this isnt a hot rod forum, but i figure its worth a shot.

Don't have a lead for you on a new carb but what problems are you having with the one on there?

well the motor itself has had alot of work done to it, but the guy i bought it from put stock intake and exhaust manifolds, and stock 4 barrel from an old cobra on it. the carb has already been rebuilt once, and now the diaphram has gone out. i think im just gonna order a 650 edelbrock carb and performer manifold for it and forget it.

..........i think im just gonna order a 650 edelbrock carb and performer manifold for it and forget it.I was gonna suggest Summit or Jegs cause if you find another used one you'd want to go through it anyway.... better just to buy new in some cases and be done with it. When I bought a distributor and coil about 2 months ago I saw a good price on-line and then called Summit and they price matched for me. The guy was real nice about it too, they just have to be able to find the website where you found it.

ive gotta stack of summit and jegs books a mile high. i think thats what im gonna do. i might even go ahead and get the headers i want while im at it :)
