Here are pics of my 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter 800. I have it up for sale and just took these pics for the Craigslist Ad.

Exactly my sentiment. Not into motorcycles, but that thing is nice!

How many bikes have you bought sold this year. :) It seems like every few months I read another thread about you selling one bike and buying another.

Also, is that trailer in the back ground one of the trailers you sell that can be folded up and carried with you? I would love to have one, just wish they were a little more affordable.

I had my Ninja 250 from a couple years ago. Sold that bought a race bike and the FZR600 I have. Traded the race bike for this Drifter and I have the Drifter and FZR for sale still. :)

Yes, that is a Trailer in a Bag that we sell.

Actually if any of you wanted it I would let it go cheaper than what I'm asking now.

Sale pending. :( I hate to see it go. A guy is flying in from KC this weekend to buy it and ride it home. :(

That would be one long ride from South Detroit to Kansas City, dang. He better pray for no rain. Riding in the rain in the summer is not too bad, riding in the rain in October would not be much fun.

Seem like your butt and back would be sore after a trip that long.

This bike is for sure a comfortable ride compared to other bikes I have owned. But I'd get sore in a 12 hour car ride let alone a bike. LOL If you stop every couple to few hours and rest and stretch a bit it's not that bad.

Thats a sweet bike! I dont know much about em but I have been toying with the idea of selling on of the 7's and getting one. 12 hrs would be pure hell lol.

The worst road trip I ever did was from Washington to Socal in a VW Beetle, old school. Had to pop start the stupid thing all the way back lol.

Sale failed. LOL The guy backed out this morning. I guess he didn't want the 12 hour ride.

I'd love to do a long ride but I'd like to take my time and have the time to take it easy. LOL A buddy of mine and I are planning to ride from the Detroit area to Mackinaw (very tip of the lower peninsula) which should be about a 6-7 hour ride one way. If I don;t have the Drifter or a new bike I won't be doing it. 6-7 hours on the FZR would be straight Hell.

Nice Sled

My Brothers are both big bike guys..
I got into Dirt bike riding when I was much younger, but never got into riding street bikes...?

I guess I didn't trust other drivers sharing the road?

Curious question: Will it be a problem selling it this late in the riding season?

Yes, it will. LOL I'm sure I will keep it until spring and then I'll be able to sell it in a day.

Nice big cruising bike!

I know I don't have to tell you this but I can't resist. Beware of buyers on Craigslist; TONS of scammers are attracted to that site. Ok I feel better.
