best product and process to remove scratches,paint transfer on plastic?

Hey Guys-gals:

thoughts on what are the best products to remove/hide both paint (damn people opening doors banging your side mirror plastic) and scratches from the plastic parts on your vehicle ?

and do u machine buff the plastic or not..if so what type pads, etc..

Are you talking about black textured/non-textured parts or painted-to-match plastic parts?

Painted to match aka the side mirrors, and back panels under bumper...pinted to match...

Just treat them as you would any other part. Be aware that plastic doesn't dissipate heat and there is a higher risk of burning or wrinkling the paint if you're not paying careful attention. For removing paint transfer, clay works very well.
