I know I've read a lot of good stuff about the vanilla moose on autopia in the past.

Vanilla Moose and Carnauba Moose are two of my favorite products! QuikShine is good for people living in humid environments (no streaking), but it doesn't leave much extra gloss behind. The Red Machine Glaze and Yellow Cream Wax are near the top of my list of things to try next.

For sure!!! it is probably the best Qd I have used, hands down. I use it when dryhing off the car. I can use it on Glass, paint, plastic whatever and it does a great job and no streaking. I like the fact that it comes in a concentrated form. So if you buy a gallon of it it is very light to ship and doesnt cost much. You add your own water in the jug up to a specific line.

Distilled water should really be used for best results.

How does it compare to Adam's? I really like their QD.

QuikShine and Adam's Detail Spray are very different types of QDs. QuikShine provides more of a low gloss, satiny sheen. One of its best characteristics is the total lack of streaking, which is very important in more humid climates. It also doesn't seem to leave much behind that could potentially contribute to bonding problems for LSPs. Adam's DS is a high gloss spray. I believe it contains silicone which provides a great deal of the wet look, but wouldn't be the best as a prep step for LSPs. It also seems to a little more prone to streaking, though it's not a significant problem.

Thanks AWD330 for the information. I really like the high shine and wet look... I have a black truck and love to make it look wet.

You're welcome! :D

BTW - I personally reach for the new Poorboy's Spray & Gloss when I'm looking for the highest and wettest gloss QD spray. It has replaced my previous favorite, Meguiar's Final Detail.
