hey guys ive been looking a chemical guys website and they offer professinal grade products iwnated to know if any1 on the site has used there products and if so howd you likethem, and i also have a few questions, my buddy has a 1998 maxima baige color thati detaliked just by hand with meguires 3step wax, now he has heavy oxidation on his hood and only the hood what can i use to get ride of it should i use some kind of compound? then what do i do from there i am new at this so plz bear with me

They have some good stuff but it's not anywhere as good as they hype it. Do your research on the forums and don't fall for the hype on their site and you should be fine.

What types of products are you looking for? Polish? Wax? Wash? Spray Wax? Let us know and we can set you up with some top picks. Then you don't have to end up with a special shelf for products that let you down.

hey thanks scott well i neeed a variety of items i need some good wax thats not cheap autozone crap, i need a carwash that is good and doesnt strip the wax ima need a sealent ima noob so maybe you can tell me what i basicly need to get started doing detail

There are a lot of people who are very satisfied with CG just like many brands. The same could be said about most any brand (good stuff but not as good at the hype).

Here is my link where I posted my first detail of my car. I am not a professional, but Itook lot of info from prof folks got myself a flex and some gr8 products. See my first post in my link below for a product summary.

I am biased to Ulitma car wash, Sonus polishing stuff, the flex, ultima paint guard and Danase wet glaze. I think u will need to polish to get the oxidation off. See if that works before compounding.
