Would anyone like to see the home page gone and www.detailingforums.com take you right to the forums and not the home page?

I say keep it. Makes it easier to browse through the newest posts without having to browse through every section.

I do not understand. I just select "new posts" when I get to home page so I just see what has been posted since my last visit. I never navigate the various sections looking for new threads. I never see old threads.

If I start a new thread, I do have to actually look at forum categories.

I understand what you say, I'm just lazy

I go right to Quick Links- Today's posts, since I visit everyday. Don't even look at the home page.

Definitely keep the home page. When autopia made all those changes and they got rid of the recent posts on the homepage, a lot of people complained. Having the recent posts on the homepage is really convenient.
