How many people here are detailing right now? I know most of us are in a couple of feet of snow so i was just curious who was doing anything right now?

I am mainly setting up details for the spring right now. I do have a Can Am Spyder to do soon.

Is the Spyder being driven to you?! It's too cold for me to even think about hopping on a bike yet. Although the Spyder does have 3 wheels so if you got bundled up in some snowmobile gear you might be alright on it. Could actually be fun! LOL

No he keeps it in his shop, he did ride it when there wasn't any snow but he had a face mask, eye goggles, scarf, and hand warmers lol. He looked like a he was frozen to the bike when he returned. There is no way you would catch me on a bike in this weather, snow or no snow.

I could not even imagine. I am really surprised how cold it is on the bike when it's like 70 out. LOL If I'm going out on a long early morning ride, even if it's 70 out, I'll have on long johns and a couple layers of shirts. LOL

I might run through a touchless this week. It might warm up to above freezing and no snow for a few days.

I had this trouble with my car where the inside windows where freezing. It sucked. I finally got it in the garage and warm enough to melt it all and then I was able to dry them and clean them. I also cleaned and conditioned all of the seals on the doors. Hopefully that helps.

I have Huskey liners. I only clean them in spring. Spray them off with the hose, them some APC let it dwell a bit then scrub with a brush and rinse with a hose. They seem to turn out pretty good. If the water gets up too far I will take them out and dump them out. Or soak it up with an old rag.

I should have dressed my seals too. I ran through the touchless tonight. It's sitting in the garage now. Hope the doors are not froze shut tomorrow. :?

I let me car sit all weekend with the windows down in the garage. The windows where not frozen but of course after work the back window was a sheet of ice on the inside again. I took a squeegee to it when I got home. I'm about ready to take a ball bat to it.

Are you using recirculation mode for the heat?

No, I'm using the fresh air mode.

No, I'm using the fresh air mode. hmm..fresh air vents obstructed with snow or ice? Maybe the vent to let air out of the passenger compartment is in the wheel well or some place like that and is covered with road salt/grime/snow slush?

Just thinking...

I actually went to my manual this weekend and made sure there was not snow or ice covering the inlet grill. It's located right in the cowl.

The car is dry inside too. I could see if my carpets where soaked and the water from them created the water on the windows.

lol...singing along to the Dixie Chicks more than usual while driving?

If nothing else you could crack the rear windows to equalize the humidity while driving.

LOL

Good idea! I'll give that a shot tomorrow on the way in.
