Hello to everyone, i'm new to this board but not new to message boards in general.
I will state up front that i am here to learn about the detailing industry, the people, how it works and how i might be able to better serve the industry in my capacity. I am NOT here to simply solicit sales or any such thing, but for the free discussion of different aspects of the industry so we all learn about ways we can all succeed together, especially in tough economies and challenging, competitive markets.
I am from a company that sells some products that are used in the detail industry but i want to make sure i am not overstepping any trusts or boundaries by naming the comapny at this time, or by simply being here.
The first post i read, in checking this out was in reference to how everyone made out in 2008 and the idea of better marketing etc was raised. I have a separate hobby that may be a solution to consider and ill post it in that appropriate thread.
My hope is that i am accepted as another perspective of the overall industry and business in general, but understand that if my presence creates any discomfort among free discussions, i will voluntarily resign membership. Its not that i get that feeling from here, but i've had that experience before, unwarranted as it may have been.I have respect for these forums and the free expression amongst members, and in message boards in general.
