I finally had the time to use the products I won from the Detail Shoppe giveaway. Thank you Dave. The products I won were Danase Wet Glaze and Danase Paint Sealant.

DWG: Just about everyone in the detailing world has heard of Danase Wet Glaze. The product is purple in color and smells like grape. The consistency is thick. It comes in a white plastic 16 oz. bottle. The bottle seems sturdy enough to sustain an impact if it were dropped. The instructions are clear on how to use the product. I applied the product by using a PC with a gray Lake Country pad. The product went on with ease and came off just as easily. As the name implies it does make the paint look “wet” and it adds depth. The price ($16.95) is competitive with other glazes on the market. DWG lives up to its claims. This is a great product that I plan to keep using.

DPS: I have been wanting to try this product for a good while. The product is green in color and smells like mint. The product was thicker than I imagined it would be. It comes in a white plastic 16 oz. bottle. The bottle seems sturdy enough to sustain an impact if it were dropped. The instructions are clear on how to use the product. I applied the sealant with a grey Lake Country pad using the PC. The product went on easy and wiped off without much effort. I did use more product than I thought I would but not too much. DPS added some gloss to the paint, which I like. DPS does what it says and with its instant cure time gives it an advantage over other sealants that require a cure time. The price is $19.95. This is a good value when you compare it to other sealants on the market. This is another good product from Danase.

The next day I wiped down the paint with Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer.

These are products that anyone could use, even a beginner.

I used these products on my 97 Ford Ranger. This truck has over 190,000 miles and is driven and left outside everyday. If Danase products can make my truck look this good imagine what they could do for your ride.

Sorry the pictures do look any better than they do. It was overcast and my picture skills aren’t that great.

Is your truck lifted a little?

It's not lifted. For some reason that is how Ford made it.

Really good stuff Both products !! I Just used the sealant on my Brother and sister-inlaws 05 Black pathfinder last Saturday . It came out slick and wet looking. They loved it. I love for the instant cure time as you can put on a couple of coats on customers cars and not have to wait for a 12-24 Hr cure time. When I give it a matainence wash I'm going to top it with the Danase Classic Wax I won .
