I'm picking up a new ride tonight. A 97 Grand Marquis. So once I get it home and in the garage I'm going to start a nice clean up of it and document everything. You should start to see some articles coming shortly.

Congrats Bob! I think the hardest thing of a detail is the write up. I have one right now that I need to write up but haven't. Can't wait to see it.

This car is pretty clean. I'll probably get pics up tomorrow. I crawled under it today and I'm pretty sure this car has never seen snow or anything. You could eat off the underside. I'm guessing it was an older lady or man that owned it and never drove it. The paint has a lot of scratched from automatic car washes it appears but those should come out fairly easily. I clayed a little of it tonight because I was itching to do something. LOL The motor compartment is rust free too. Like really nice. I just hope the motor is in good condition and last a long time. It for sure needs a new air filter. I'll probably go grab one of those tomorrow.

I took some pics today but I must of set the white balance wrong and they all came out like crap. I'll have more this weekend. I'm not sure what I'm going to do a write up on yet. I might try and do a 3 step polish with the Cyclo but we'll see.

From Michigan?

From Michigan?

Yeah. My guess is that it was an old couple that went south for the winter and left this car sitting in a garage in Michigan. That could also explain the less than 6000 miles per year on it.

I did a quick video with using the Swirl Abolisher line to remove swirls with a Cyclo. I just have to figure out how to use this new video editing software and I'll get it up.

Here is the final edited version. The video is in HD but I can not edit it as HD for some reason. But, for now, here it is.
