For those of you that want the home page left, what are your reasons?

We ended up getting rid of it for now and here it why.

Too many people would just look at the home page and leave, no log in or anything. My hopes are that now people will log in to view post since last visit and since they are already logged in they might participate or post something. I think it will be much better for the site.

How about the option though to click on a link to view the most recent threads from the last month or so? Otherwise, we would have to click every section to find those. IMO, the new layout is not user friendly.

If you click "New Post" at the top it'll show you every new post since you last logged in. It's all I ever use on any forum.

I think he means New Posts + old posts in chronological order. New posts are usually in bold and old posts are in normal font.

arrghhhh--- The homepeage never stopped me from posting!! made it easier to peruse IMO--- i am always logged in as i keep my laptop on (put it to slepp at night) and with Firefox and others u have multiple tabs...

Right, but my question was 'will it continue to do so?'

I know it's not tough to change a bookmark, but I have a few computers (not all mine) that I'd have to be changing, so I'd rather not if I don't have to.
