Weekends Meets

Does anyone attend local meets in your area?

Last summer I started my search for the perfect place to host a cars and coffee of my own locally. I know it's not an original name or idea but it would be fun and a good way for car guys to connect.

It would be fun to meet up for a few hours every weeked and shoot the breeze with some fellow car guys and a nice chance to see some cool cars of all kinds.

I am in a RX-7 club but the events are lacking and I need more to feed my car addiction ](*,)

I used to when I drove sport compacts. I started a meet close to me. Was nice because no idiots came. There was a huge local meet but a lot of kids came and acted like asses. LOL This year I plan on starting a weekly meet with my motorcycle forum. Doubt I'll make it ever week but I'd like to get it started. It's a Michigan forum so at least the guys in my area can meet up.

I know what you mean about people acting stupid. Thats why I want to do a morning thing to draw in a more diverse crowd. My buddys and I like to go out at night because we have a good cruising scene in the summer time here. I guess theres always going to be a few bone heads out there.

Yeah, the last time I ever went I was one of the first to arrive and when I pulled in some kids where driving around the lot with their doors open with other kids hanging on to the car and sitting on it. Idiots! I just left. It was about 50 minutes away too. LOL
