No problem! At one of our RX-7 club meets some of the more advanced guys in the club did a nice demo and took a blown engine apart for everyone to see. Turbo 7's don't last long hehe.

I still want to see an old flathead V8 up close.

Isn't that the Renesis? Didn't the old Wankels have the intake and exhaust port on the inside face of the rotor housing?

Yeah they switched the intake/exhaust on the Renesis onto the irons, it's weird.

It's a better design. Keeps the intake and exhaust ports from being open at the same time.

It's smoother, more efficient. As much as I love the rotary I am thinking about going V8 in one of my cars :)

It would be a fun jump in HP and reliability I think.
