View Full Version : Sealant, Wax, Both?
What's everyone preference? I like Nubas over sealants but decided to go with a sealant this time around on my beater 7.

Depends, summer I use wax, winter I use a sealnt. On dark cars I like a wax over sealant, or ill use a wax over sealant to get a particular look

On my cars, I always do a sealant topped with a nuba. On customers' cars I stick to sealants only.

I find myself using sealants a whole lot more because I'm getting lazy or something. Collinite 845 is just too easy to work with, and I usually go back near the end of the detail and top it off with Opt spray wax.

If its a daily driver I usually use a sealant. Garage queens get nubas or sealant then nuba. I am starting to lean toward sealants because they are easy to use most of the time and if I want a nuba depth look I put wet glaze under it.

Ive put traditional Nubas away for good........I use spray products (hybrids) like AW and OCW only for boosters, but Polys are always my base.

I usually wax, but use sealants on light colors and friends cars that are likely to be neglected.
