Since I never tried the original Wet Glaze by Danase, I can not comment on the differences between the two products.

Product Name: Wet Glaze 2.0 by www.TheDetailShoppe.com (http://www.TheDetailShoppe.com)

Product Container: 16 oz. container with flip top cap with hole for easy pouring.

Product Labeling: This product’s label is a professionally printed and coated label that will not smear the print if liquid or product should spill on it.

Product Characteristics:
Color: Purple
Scent: Coconut
Consistency: Thick cream.

Product Performance: I have used this product on dark and light vehicles. I was really amazed at the results on light cars. It’s as if you added another layer of brilliant clear coat to the paint. It goes on easy and comes off easy. I applied by hand with a foam applicator. This is one of the slickest wet glazes I’ve used. For you show car fans, this is the product to use if you’re looking for mirror-like shine.

On dark cars it is equally impressive. Although the instructions don’t say to let it dry before removing, it does not pose a problem if you do. I always let it dry before removing and it came off the vehicles very easily. The only thing to be careful of is applying too much. It only takes a small amount the size of two dimes on your pad or two nickels if applying by machine.

Product Price: $19.99 and definitely worth the price.

Product Safety: If one follows the instructions on the bottle there should be no safety issues.

Since applying Wet Glaze 2.0 to my wife’s silver car, I have had more people comment on how “shiny” (their words) it looked. As detaildoc has mentioned in another thread, the appearance of your vehicle looks even better 10-12 hours after you have applied Wet Glaze 2.0.

I have another car (black) waiting to have Wet Glaze 2.0 applied to it. I will post a picture as soon as I get a chance. The only way you will appreciate this product is to order a bottle and try it. You won’t be sorry.

Great review! Thanks for posting. I applied it on my wife's suv, which had two coats of Danase Paint Sealant 2.0 and the slickness was incredible. Nothing has been sticking to the paint since.

I agree too...easy on/off, great look, and excellent slickness. The slickness is what really surprised me. I really liked (and still do) DWG, but Dave has out done himself with WG2.0.

Here's the black car, a Ford Expedition, I mentioned above with Wet Glaze 2.0. Tires still needed to be dressed. The photos don't do this Wet Glaze justice. It looks twice as good in person.
