Hey Dave, have you looked into these new sprayable polishes by Optimum? Definitely look interesting. The Hyperpolish is supposed to finish down better than Menzerna and the cutting ability is supposed to be very versatile depending on the pad. Wondering if you will be carrying these? Has anybody used these yet?

I will be trying the new spray polishes soon. They look promising and it will be interesting to see how they stack up against Four Star's spray polish although that is more of a finishing polish.

Sweet! It would be nice to compare it against Menzerna Powerfinish.

Haven't used Powerfinish but I hear it has decent cut and excellent gloss.

My favorite polish. The word out there is that Hyperpolish is supposed to cut like PW, but finish even better. That, I will have to see. PW is a tough one to beat, but if Hyperpolish can beat it that would be one bad ass polish.

Very nice Patrick. So did you use it both as a medium polish AND as a finishing polish or as a single step polish? The idea is that it will cut accordingly based on pad selection, but isn't that true of any polish? I guess my concern would be that if the abrasives are sharp enough to cut like PowerFinish with a polishing pad, even with a finishing pad you would be cutting too much into the cc when jewelling. So I wonder if it would be better to use just as a medium one step polish like Powerfinish and stick to one of the Menzerna finishing polishes like RD or micro polish for jewelling? I'm really wanting to try this stuff.

Two more questions: How is the working time? How's lubricity (does it require a pad conditioner or does it have good lubricants?) I use Gloss It Pad Conditioner when polishing, which is very nice and extends working time.

Luis, I used it strictly as a one stepper. Swirl reduction with applied pressure, and paint enhancement with higher speeds and slower arm movement. The non diminishing abrasives are micro abrasives. Final results are dependent upon more then just pad selection, consider arm speed, machine speed, and applied pressures. I have never used Menzerna (and probably never will) so i cant comment on any comparison....
Working time is not indefinite like OP II or OC II, although I had plenty of time for its performance in my situation. Its definitely a "different" feeling polish. Ive used Optimum or Four Star Pro polishes for so long, i have never experienced a need for additional pad conditioning. I wouldnt think its necessary with the new Hyper polishes. Especially with near instant "seasoning" with the spray type. I mean a couple sprays per section is all it needed.
Available Saturday! A little steep, retails at $24.99. But its one of those "finally" afterthoughts that make it worthy enough.....I really enjoyed using it............

Thanks for the feedback Patrick. I might have to check it out and test it. Sounds like I would need to play with it for a while to master this polish, but it might just be worth it. So it has both diminishing and non diminishing abrasives?

Yes, diminishing abrasives and super micro abrasives. I think users will find it very versatile, and very easy to use.....
