My brother borrowed my dad's truck for a trip to Costco. He thought he unloaded everything, but forgot a bag of shrimp on the back carpet. Now the truck reaks of shrimp. My dad tried some Glade deodorizer to no avail. Since the shrimp left a stain I went at it with some Oxy-Clean and my LCGM. The smell lessened a bit, but it still smells. Anyone have any ideas as to what else I can do (products, methods, etc...)? Thanks in advance.

You can try an enzyme or protein cleaner. Janitorial supply places would carry it. Also many detailing companies have one. I've only used it for a few weeks so haven't tried it on a food based odor.

something with microban in it would be really effective.

Before ordering the enzyme cleaner I decided to go at it again with my LGCM. I let it air out and the smell is now gone. Thanks for the info, though.
