As a comedian once said, "There are two things that happen when you turn 60, first you have to move to Florida and second, you must buy a Grand Marquis. It's the law." Since I live in Florida I can tell you it seems most people 60 or over drive a Grand Marquis.
This is the last production year for what has been Mercury's best selling car, with over 3 million sold. The Crown Victoria (it's Ford brother) will also cease production this year.
