I bought the kit, but I haven't used it yet. I just wanted to have it on hand in case of emergency. :P

it takes a little getting used too...I havent got it right yet. I have seen some videos where it works great.

I've used it (well, the Mothers version) on 10+ year old touch up paint (Owner's wife "helped him" and brushed it on EVERY little scuff. And I do mean brushed-thick rough lines... some were 18" long! :o ).
Took a while to get the paint levelled, but I felt much more comfortable with this than with an abrasive. I think if you were to use it on more "fresh" touch up paint, it would be far easier to use.
(The Mothers version has been discontinued, so there may be some "deals" to be had with that version! :P )
