Really? What was the hassle with it? I got a can of this stuff, that I can not find anywhere, from a detailing friend. It was great for engines because it would take a dirty engine, clean it and shine it all in one spray. Sounded like the CD-2 stuff but I guess not.
Thanks for the reply.

Well what caused it to be a hassle was that you had to run the engine for a while to "bake" it on, when I could just use a dressing and be done with it.

Oh ok, I did not know that. their site just says, "Spray on and walk away"
Thanks for the heads up!

I had some version of the CD2 stuff once.. it was a 2 step cleaner and shiny crappy stuff. The cleaner made all the aluminum look oxidized.. and the other stuff was super shiny... I might as well have sprayed the engine with Armor All

Remember that stuff Bryan gave us? That was the stuff I liked.

I've used it before. It cleaned pretty well. It is kind of a pain to use. You have to make sure the engine is cool for the cleaner, let it sit, and then hose it off. Then you have to spray on the shiny stuff and run the engine for 10-15 minutes to bake it on.

Not yet. I have been away all week. I am going to try and find it today while we are out.
