Some questions about my first Detail ???

Ok guys, going to detail my gocart (96 Neon). the car has a little shine, and some rock chips in the hood and of course swirl marks in the hood also. just for the heck of it i want to go the whole route. wash, clay, wax, polish, swirl mark remover. the 2 things i would like to gain (other than experience) is a nice shine and lose the swirl marks, if posible. Other than washing cars, the wrong way i have never done any detailing. Please be gentle. Thanks :D

Well, we have some excelent package deals from Poorboy's, Four star, and ClearKote if something like that would interest you at all?

I suggest the Package by Four Star. I bought that and it worked wonderfully. You might want to pick up an extra bottle of Clay Lube with a clay bar kit. But it has everything in it that you would need.

Was very impressed with the kit, and i also learned that a little of the soap will go a LOOOONG way...for a 5 gallon bucket use about 1/2 of what they tell you. ESP on a black car, i had to rinse it for like 20 minutes the first time...

I haven't tried the 4 star line yet, but I have gotten excelent result with Poorboys products. That is something I will say you cant go wrong with.
