View Full Version : Anyone using 303 products?
I know I have used a couple of their line and really like them. We got in a small sample kit from them today and I plan on trying it out on this weekends detail.

I've only tried the Aerospace Protectant. That is a very good vinyl/rubber/plastic dressing. I didn't like it as much on leather. It is a water based product which leaves a very clean matte finish and also has UV inhibitors. It wears off somewhat quickly on exterior surfaces, but has good durability on interior surfaces. Some people find the smell to be rather unpleasant.

aerospace cleaner is the awesome stuff! I love it for a lot of things when differently diluted.
The protectant is great too but pretty costly around $15 per bottle.

I like the protectant, but I haven't used it on anywhere near the number of uses they list on the bottle. I've only used it on vinyl/plastic. As already mentioned, fairly expensive/oz. but 1 bottle should last a "normal person" :P quite a while.
I really like the Aerospace Cleaner (and spot cleaner/fabric cleaner=dilluted versions of AC). Rinses out well without attracting soiling to the cleaned area. I've used it mostly on carpets/fabrics. The couple of times I used it on grease etc. it worked not too badly either.
I like the windshield wiper treatments, but if you don't use them in a timely manner, the foam pad turns to mush. I guess the treatment breaks down the sponge over time. :? I also like the way they are "individually wrapped" so you can leave one in the glove box, or give them to others to try them out without having to buy/give a whole bottle.
The w.washer tablets I haven't used long enough to say if they boost cleaning ability or not. I have noticed a bit of foam and a film left where the wipers don't wipe. Makes cleaning the windows properly more of a necessity rather than something to get around to.
Anyone else? I would like to know what you all, or ya'll, would like to see me carry and what sizes.

I've got a bottle of the protectant, but I haven't used it more than twice. Seems to be a pretty good protectant for EPDM seals.
I haven't been brave enough to try this though...

I've been using for just over a year, cause that's how long a 32oz bottle has lasted me. I'm still bout half way through it, and then I finally get to use my PB natual look (32oz) that's been sitting for a few months.

IMO ...... I'd choose 303 over Natural Look anyday.. My NL bottle has Dust from 2004 & i dont like it. It even smells cheap like the Bars the ice cream used to sell.
But on a side note: I dont know of one soul that has tried using 303 on paint surface. Has anyone tried it ?

I think we'd have to step back from the computer and evaluate if we really know what "detailing" is if we did that. I'd be scared out of my mind to use it on paint...ESPECIALLY with a rotary!

I sure won't be trying it on my car!

Well I too got the sampler pack and I must say I love almost all the products I've tried.
303 Protectant is excellent on your dash and for dressing tires. My tires got a good shine and seemed to last over a week even thoguh it was raining here in SF, CA.
303 Shower Shield - Wow what can I say its like Wax for your shower. My roommate and I had the problem of our plastic shower curtain getting moldy and stinking after a while. Nothing seemed to really help other than mold remover but the mold would just come back. I put this stuff on and the water just beads off. My housemate sayin to mem "Ugh, Manny why are the forums always right". I just laughed.
303 wiper blade treatment - Stuff is great. Makes the blade softer especially when they are old and crappy. My housemate needed new ones but no money. So i told her I had it. We tried it and she's been happy with the results.
I have a few other items to try that I got a sample of: Spot Remover, instant windshield washer fluid tablets and their CD Sonic Blast. I plan on using the washer fluid soon. Not suer about the other two.
Overall they make some good stuff. I would recommend the 303 Protectant to detail the interior maybe not for the leather although I haven't tried (I have other products for that) and for tire shine. I think if you guys really want to try. Pay the 5 bucks for shipping from 303 and order your sampler. I think its worth the 5 bucks. I can post the link here to the sampler if it is ok with Bob.
You like the shower stuff huh? I did not get that with my samples but was thinking of trying it.

Yea the shower stuff was great. It's almost like Rain X for your shower. Its' been in our shower for a few weeks now. I may reapply soon. It says to apply every 30 days or so. The way the water just beads off the wall and curtain is great. Plus it keeps the mold from growing which causes a musty smell in the bathroom, yuck. Anyway I'm impressed so far by the 303 line up. I would suggest people to try out their sampler its only 5 bucks.
Awesome! I wonder how it will work on the bathroom mirrors?

I don't know if it can remove the fogging up of the mirror since our curtain still fogs. I've been interested in trying this though:

I wonder if it would do the trick. Anyway I really want to use my 303 Cleaner and Spot Remover on my carpet at home. I'm looking to get some brushes for my PC. Bob have you ever used these brushes?
http://autogeek.net/porter-cable-brushes.html
I have some RainX anti fogging wipes but they do nothing in the bathroom.

Yes, I carry the white brush actually. I have always used the white brush so when I started to carry Cyclo I got them in. I have not used any of the other colors though.

Oh sweet, you carry the white brush. I didn't notice you had it under cyclo. Well once Catholic Lent (I gave up ordering anything online for 40 days) is over I will order the brush along with one of your fancy foam guns (that thing looks sweet). I may even purchase a few more 303 products. Bob when will you have these in?
The Foam Guns are out but should be in in about 2 weeks, a little less actually.
Hopefully soon! I am trying to make room for the 303 products. I know I keep saying they are coming soon and then they don't show up in the store and I appologize. I just have to clear some of the old stuff that is not selling out first and make room for the 303. Plus, I am trying to move into a bigger place.

Hmmm, sounds like you need to have a fire sale, Bob! :D

I agree with Randyvous. If the products aren't selling and really cheap. I'll buy just to try but then again I'm such an impulse buyer when it comes to detailing products. Let us if you ever have a fire sale. :D
Yeah, I will for sure be trying to get a good clearance sale going this week. :)

Hey Bob any plans on carrying the other 303 products in the future such as the wiper treatment and fluid? I'd defintely buy those two in the future.

Once I finally get 303 in I will probably carry as much as I can as long as it sells.

I have tried the Windshield Washer tablets and the Windshield Wiper conditioner wipes. Both products exceeded my expectations and I will definitely purchase them again. I have never used the 303 Protectant but will purchase a bottle when my current Poorboy's supply runs out...
I put in my 303 order last night but this morning I saw the fax did not go through so hopefully the fax will be working!

YOu know, this might not be all that off base. According to Finish Kare (http://www.fk1usa.com/products-consumer.htm), #2180 sealant is "a blend of polydimethylsiloxane copolymers". PDMS, as those polymers are better known, is the main ingredient in white water-based dressings like 303 Protectant. So....I wonder...
