View Full Version : MF storage
So.. how are your MF towels stored/organized? I was putting my MF towels on my detailing product shelf and keeping the dirty/clean separate which I felt was good enough. Until I came home to find my roommate cleaning his car and throwing the dirty towels on the ground and using them to clean his wheels :( Now I have a bunch of MF that I'm afraid to use.. so I need to figure out how to keep this from happening.
I'm thinking 2 bins.. one for clean, one for dirty. The towels come out, are used, and put away. No floor contact or use on anything but paint. I'm gonna have to set some ground rules :D

I have a big container in the garage i throw the used ones in and another one for the clean ones. It does a good job at keeping them seperated.
Or you might want to try this:

Haha.. trust me, that idea crossed my mind when I saw my MF on the ground!!! First I looked around for a ball bat! You know what was funny.. I had a towel that was putting fine scratches in the BMW paint and I was really confused because they were newer towels that I stocked up on. Turns out I know why now :? :? :? :?

mine usually are in a shelf in my room, or in the hallway waiting to be washed....
Right now it is about half and half...

What do you guys use to store all the rest of your stuff? For towels once they are washed they hang dry on my laundry room door until needed or until the wife yells at me to take them down. I was thinking about making something out of acrylic to keep mine in.

ALL my cleaning stuff is in my room on 2 shelfs in my dresser. Away from my dad, who will use them on everything....
I dry my MF in the Drier on delicate with a static cling in there and they work most excellent after a few washes

I store the rest of my stuff in the garage and in my basement. In the winter time it all comes inside. :(
Chaney:
What do you mean by static cling?

a drier sheet

Dryer sheets usually have some type of fabric softener in them which is a nono with MF's

no fabric softener...my dad is allergic to that stuff, and most laundry soaps, so all we use are standard stuff without and fabric softener :D
