Before I shoveled I got stuck a bit in my driveway too and I have snow tires!

That stinks! No snow blower? My blower was bodding down a little at times the snow was so heavy! If I would of have the Civic still I would not of been able to get up the drive at all because it was so deep!

I have a pretty big snow blower, but we lucked out during yesterday's storm. We got mostly rain with some ice. No accumulation at all this time. Of course, we're still dealing with what's left of the 10 inches we got last week.

Ten inches? It's been probably 10 years since we have had that much snow fall at once! I enjoy it when it snows and would love a white Christmas but that's obviously because we don't have to deal with the amount (or frequency) you guys have.
Oops, I said Christmas...am I in trouble???

Glory be! I wake up this morning to an inch of snow on the ground, (our first of the season) and every school within radar range is closed today. My daughter was thrilled, before she rolled over and went back to sleep!
Of course, according to the forecast, tomorrow it will be 61*.
We got about 1/2 inch on the ground and the schools are not even thinking about closing until they get about another foot.
