View Full Version : What do you do for pet hair?
Was just wondering what you all use for removing heavy pet hair out of vehicles.

They work better than just using a vacuum. They are not perfect but it's the best way I've found.

Cool deal! I have a car to do Sunday and it will be filled with pet hair. Looks like I will be making a trip to Petco tomorrow.

I got mine from Meijer actually for $10, it is green and white.
Using that brush and a vacuum at the same time is the best method I've found. It still leaves a couple stray hairs, can never be 100% hairless.

If you wanted to try saving some money, a rubber glove can work fairly well too. (Not to say a brush wouldn't work better, mind you... :D )
Thanks for the tips! I clean this car a few times a year and it is the worst one I get. I think the dog must live in the car or something because you can not see the carpet do to the hair all over. Not funny actually. :P I picked up this rubber brush thing from Pet Smart and it worked awesome! I was using the Cyclo brush on my PC and that worked great too but it can not reach the tight spots. This brush did a heck of a job. It also gave my arms a workout.

So do we get a cut of the detail money then for helping out???
I hear you, after most interior details my arms are killing me.

a vinyl/latex glove misted with water works great. Get the glove wet, scrap into a pile, amd vacuum. Wah La.

lol i use photobucket.com to host my pictures, its free and easy to use and it has a tag you can copy and paste into your post and they will show up.
Actually you can not attatch pictures from your computer, they have to be online somewhere already. :(

I have had good luck with the Hair and Lint Extractor from Meguiar's.

I just recently got a black lab and I have two long haired adult cats, so there is no shortage of dead hair in our vehicles.

That looks like the tool I use as well. I got mine from the local Pet Smart.
