View Full Version : Products that do NOT stain trim
Any product that stains exterior trim is quickly becoming my enemy.
What products have you found that DON'T stain?
I will start with:
Souveran
Zaino polishes (if I remember correctly)
CMW
AIO
Why can't someone produce an abrasive polish that doesn't demand a full car tape job?
I spend too much on blue and green 3m tape and hate applying tape.
OK, enough complaining. Suggestions?

Suggetion: Dont wax and polish the trim and you wont have to mask  sorry had to say it.
I find that the SSR line does not stain. I used to use Griot's Polishes, and although they were good, they stained the trim very bad. That was the reason I switched actually.
Two things compound this for me:
1. I like to apply LSPs by RO, which jumps over that line if you know what I mean. It is wiggling so how do you draw a straight line?
2. The front end of one of my vehicles is painted plastic and the part of it is the textured plastic and the ofther part is sanded and smooth. AND there are a lot of curved boundries btwn the two. Even by hand with a small applicator it is hard not to hit the trim.

Yeah, I too usually grab for my PC for LSP.
