I can see an occasional need to use a glaze product under Natty's blue. Oh, who am I kidding...it's REALLY because I haven't tried either of them yet!
Sooo, what's the difference between the two products? Is it better to use a PC or apply by hand?
Your opinion is appreciated!
I always use them with the PC, just because I have one and would rather use it than hand half the time. To me, Vanilla Moose seems to be a better on lighter cars like silver and whites while the Red Moose Glaze seems to shine a little better on dark colors.
To be quite honest with you sometimes even I get confused between the CK products.

I've only used VM and loved the way it looked under NB on my dads bright red 04 f-150.
I use both of these products by PC.
The VM has some cleaning ability and RMG is just for looks. That may be an over simplification. I tend to use VM with a light polishing pad and RMG with a finishing pad.

Thanks for the responses, guys! So, it sounds like RMG has more fillers and less abrasives then, right? When applying with the PC, do you apply RMG, let it haze and wipe off? Or work it in until it's pretty much gone?

Work it in till it sort of disappears. I love the looks of RMG under Carnauba, and it's what I use, but there is definately a trade off in durability. I would rather have the looks.

I use both of these products with a PC and polishing pad. VM is the more versatile product, but RMG looks better with darker and solid colors. If I could only have one, I'd take the VM since I mostly work on lighter metallic colors.

I’ve read some conflicting information about whether or not a glaze would compromise the durability of the sealant it is placed under. Most folks seem to advocate topping with a carnauba to avoid bonding issues, which does make a bit of sense.
I’m curious, has anyone tried a glaze and then topped with what sounds like one of the most durable carnaubas, Collinite 845?
Would it stand to reason that collinite would lock in the wet look attained with the glaze?

vm & rmg ARE MY Favorite Glazes... VM has some wax in it & offer optiumum gloss on light colors. RMG is my personal fav on Darks. :D
