I've tried Armor All but it dries streaky and dull, plus it doesn't last long. What do you all use?

I usually go with a product like Four Star Bazooka.

I use mostly cheap water based or foam dressings. Armor All Tire Foam or TW 2001 Protectorant. For car shows etc I use Griots Undercarriage Spray. Pricey but works great.

How durable is the griots undercarriage spray?

I've heard painting it works well. :D
I don't bother, myself. I have only a daily driver, so it doesn't make much sense to me to try detailing that area. ;)

Thanks for the input! Has anyone ever tried Sprayway's rubber Under-Coating Spray?

I was looking at that for a split second...is that just a rubber undercoating? If so, I would not use it in wheel wells.

Wow.. I get to be the first to say it......Mop N Glo

I have also used Griots Undercarriage but found that TOL's Grape Dressing did the same for a lot less.

When do you guys spray the wheel wells? I am assuming before you wash the paint in order to remove overspray. Just checking b/c I did it after the wash while I was dressing the tires and I saw foam particles floating out of the wells and was not happy.

I spray them at the end, after the wash. I haven't had any over spray issues with anything I use on it. Lately I have been using a trim dressing we are working on. Seems to be holding up well and it is a pretty thick formula so there is no overspray. I actually find it looks much better applied with a foam tire applicator over spraying anyway.

I use a cheap tire dressing (No Touch) that I bought from Sams club. I got 4 aerosol cans for $6-7. Just hold it close to the fender so it won't overspray onto the paint and be good to go.

Thats sounds good budman3 I think the foam particles is what the problem is. I think I will do the wells before I QD.

Like I said in the other thread, I've been using notouch tire foam recently because it is cheap and looks good.
