I just wanted to hear people's opinion of using it. I've been using it a while now and I'm not quite convinced that it reduces scratches and swirls. Of course you always have to make sure its nice and clean when you use it and that you have washed your car thorughly before using it. What do people think? I still haven't decided if this is my tool of choice. I do however love how it works on my windows. It does reducing drying time in my opinion. What do you all think? What drying techniques to people use? I'm curious and always looking for new things to try.
Haven't used the exact product, but I've used the California Water Blade. I can't stand it. It always squeaks as I use it, and if it picks up one measly spec of dirt...BAM...instant scratches. It doesn't save any time for me.
My routine is the one here: http://www.danaseforums.com/newsletter/February2006.pdf

Yea I've tried that before works well but the place I live at doesn't allow washing your car with a hose. So I use QEW. Any suggestions as to the easiest way to dry QEW?
Waffle weave towels is the safest way to go. No method is really easier than another. You have to be sooo diligent with the blade that it actually takes a lot more time, plus there is still quite a bit of water left on the surface for which a towels is needed.

I use my water blade every time I wash. I rinse it first to make sure there is no dirt on it. I've never had it scratch/mar my paint (I've got a black Maxima) It's great for the flat surfaces, IMO.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. It sounds like I have to keep experimenting with my drying techniques. Since I can't use a water hose here at the townhouse where I live. Any other suggestions would be great.
