Hey Everyone.
I did a "refresher" on this Mustang today. I did the full routine in November before it went into storage for the winter. I think I did clay, SSR 2.5, SSR1 or PwC and EX-P (or UPP), It was a while ago. So it got covered in dust (stored in a temporary garage) and a cat decided to walk on it. Scratched the roof and hood so I busted out more 2.5 and finished those parts off with PwS and then the whole car got a coat of Natty's. It was in the 70's today so an amazing day for detailing! Enjoy the pics.

Very nice man! I like the look of the Bullit because it has no spoiler.

Thanks guys! I love this car. Well the owner does too and I'm the only person to drive it other than him. With only 6500 Bullitts made, I enjoy keeping this one in the best condition possible.

Are they stripped versions or fully loaded? I was not sure how they did the Bullits. One of my favorite Mustangs was the GT-S. I think they where very limited editions. My friend has one and when he got it and called it a GT-S I thought he did not know what he was talking about. But the GT-S where GT's with no spoiler, no GT markings, no power anything, and I think they came with a different exhaust, short shifter, pulleys, and not sure what else.

This is loaded IMO. CD player, Leather seats, upgraded exhaust etc. Heres a picture of the interior, the seats got Leather Stuff. Don't mind the dirt on the carpets...

Thanks for that budman3! I always wondered if they were loaded like that or stripped.

Bob the GTS was only available in 1995 and basiclly is a basic v6 model car with the old 5.0 drivetrain system in it (motor/tranny/rear end). They did not come with under drive pulleys or a short shifter or a diff exhaust, they were also the only sn95 body style that didn't come with anti-lock brakes and fog lights. They did have GT side badges and rear bumper embosed MUSTANG GT like the standart GT's. Not the best pics but...

Only 6,370 GTS Mustangs were made it off the assembly line.
Here a little more info as well

Just an update here....
The day after, a piece of house siding caught the wind and hit the Mustang above the rear wheel and landed on the right side of the trunk leaving deep scratches. I didn't get to fix b/c of another problem that we had one week after (yesterday). The owner (my girlfriends uncle) and I were going out to breakfast and we crossed the road to go into a dirt parking lot and I guess the car bottomed out onto a rock and the airbags blew up in our faces! It was a total shock because we were only going like 1 -2 MPH, just crawling. Nothing damaged the car but the airbags are going to cost $1600 just for parts. So Bullitt #932 is in the repair show :?

Man, that blows! I would be making Ford pay for those! For real, tell them to pay for it or deal with a lawsuit. Airbags going off like that is just dangerous!

Seriously. I'm still waiting to hear back from the owner with the details from the black box in the car but I always thought that it was like atleast a 15-20 MPH impact for them to go off. Maybe it was a freak hit on the sensor but I highly doubt that the impact was greater than 15MPH. Everything happened so fast I didn't even know what happened. All I heard was this loud POP like a gun shot, saw smoke coming out of the vents and then noticed the bags. Then the WTF reaction came to play. Anywho atleast we made it out ok and the car for the most part...

Yeah, at least you are ok! If I can remmeber right from the older Mustangs at least TWO sensors had to go off at the same time to deploy the bags.
