If you do use them what products are you using?

I've been using the Edge 2000 6-inch DA pads (yellow, green, blue, and white), and am very satisfied with the pads and the new adapter system.

Bob,

My experience is limited, as I recently just switched over to the Edge pads and I'm just using them for my own personal cars, but in performing my Spring complete details I was very pleased with their ease and convenience (no backing plates, no centering of pads, and the Edge 2000 pads come off the adapter without any hassle). So far so good. My only gripe is that most online retailers fail to carry the Edge pads as part of their product lines. :(

I made the switch from hook and loop set up to the Edge 2000 System some time ago. I love these products and I'm not switching back. In fact I just ordered a few more pads a couple of days ago. Its great to have a pad that is actually centered from the get go. I like the feel of the foam they're easy to wash and then put back on an orbital to dry them out. I can't find anything bad to say about them. I had been using LC and Meguiars products in the past. I love Edge's orange pad.

Thanks everyone! I am looking into carrying their DA pads for now. I will probably wait until next month because I will be gone a week this month.

Excellent... Bob, when you contact Edge, could you please inquire as to the predicted availability of their DA 4-inch foam pads? When I requested information, they kind of gave me the runaround. ](*,) Thanks

Also ask about the Durafoam vs. their old style soft foam. I assume you can order either one and have it drop shipped.

Sweet I've been interested in these pads. So Bob you think sometime in July you may have these? That would perfect since it'll be a good bday gift to myself. HAHAHA. Can someone let me know how they compare to LC pads in terms of aggressiveness? What pads do they carry are equivalent to the following:

LC Yellow
LC Orange
LC White
LC Grey

Lately I haven't been using the yellow as much but I like having it in case of some heavy swirls or deep scratches. Someone please chime in. I like the idea of quick connecting pads that are two sided and are always centered. :)

No Bob WHY! LOL. It's fine I'll have to get something else from your store. Probably the foam gun. :) I'm still interested in the pads also can anyone chime in and let me know which edge pads are similar to the LC pads I listed in the previous post?

LC White = Edge blue
LC Grey = Edge white

Bob: Glad to hear that you are considering carrying Edge pads. I've always liked their foam, but the LC shapes were more appealing to me. Now that Edge may be producing a beveled DA design, this could very likely turn out to be my favorite pad. The latest prototypes are very promising.

Thanks to everyone that chimed in. Sherman8r44 did you make that chart? It's pretty cool.

Nope, I think the guy who made it goes by the name "danowatt" on Autopia/DC. It sorted out a lot of my own confusion...props to the maker, for sure.

They said they shipped it out last week. I would hope within the next few days at the very latest.
