View Full Version : Detailing Finishing Spray

Hello All,

I am sure this has been hashed over a time or two in the Danase' forums, but I'm gonna ask anyway :wink: . I am about to run out of Final Touch detailing spray. I got it from Detail King. It does a really nice job and you can use in the direct sunlight. What is the equivalent or better that Danase has? I need to order some soon and want to compare.

I have never used the Finishing Spray and can not find it online to read about it. Is it just a quick detailer / waterless wash or does it help shine as well?

Hi Bob,

good to hear you are getting up and around ok. Yes, it is a finishing spray. I use it to do a final once over of my detail jobs to remove smudges, fingerprints, residual wax or sealant. Basically, i just spray it on and wipe if off. It really brings out the shine. I also use it after every wash. Apparently, it has no protective qualities but I find that hard to believe because it seems to extend the life of my wax jobs. You can also use it as a waterless wash product. I have used it to remove light dust. So, whatever equivalent you have, let me know. I could try a couple of different products in a small size to compare. Unless, of course, you have a definite product to recommend.

I would recommend you try one of the following.
ClearKote Quik Shine
Four Star Professional 4-90 Spray Wax Plus
Poorboy's Spray and Wipe

Also, thanks! I am hoping by next weekend to be close to 100% better but we shall see. A week ago I could hardly walk and this weekend I walked all over so I am for sure feeling better. Hopefully the doctor has me back up to par by next week!

Quick shine & Spray and Gloss gets my vote. I will be trying CG Pro detailer with carnuba in the near future it's getting some high marks as well.

CG Pro Detailer with Carnuaba is a great product , It really enhances your exterior work, it's really glossy , this was the first time I've used CG products, I've used it as a waterless wash as well and have to admit it is pretty damn good.

Agreed, CG Pro Detailer (and Speed Wipe over sealants) is my go-to QD for finishing and waterless washes. :thumbsup:

I recently purchased Clearkote quick shine and wow it is awesome stuff. :) I'll probably be looking at some of the CG since it seems to be highly recommended. I have tried many QD's so far, FK425, Zaino, NXT, Gold Glass(yes there is one but its rare to find), So far I'm really liking the Zaino and quick shine.
