I have been carrying a product for a while now by Four Star called Abrasive Enhancing Gel. http://www.danase.com/fostabengel.html I finally got a chance to use this extensively yesterday. Let me say, this stuff rocks! For starters the paper glides over this gel so the wet sanding came out very nice and even and the paper lasted A LOT longer than it would have if I had wet sanded. Another added bonus is that there was NO MESS! I always hated the mess I had when wet sanding. The garage floor would be covered in water and paint. The gell keeps it from running so not only don't you have to keep wetting the paper and body, you just wipe it off when you are done. If you do any wet sanding I highly recommend this.
