I've been using this stuff regularly now, and I'm very pleased.

First impressions: The wax is hard as a brick, and smells good in a strange way...I can't quite place the scent.

Easy of use: It's tough to get a thin layer because it goes on so clear, but all that's needed are a couple of swipes off the top of the brick. It likes to haze (I usually give it about 10 minutes) before being taken off...no WOWO. Removal is fairly easy, although not quite as effortless as removing CG sealants.

Looks: Very wet and very bright; I like it a lot better than S100. Unlike most carnaubas it allows metallic flake to really POP. It looks nice and wet on dark colored cars, like most paste waxes, but it also looks great on metallic silver. I sometimes like to use a killer combo of CG Revive Glaze or Danase' Speed Glaze before the wax...they enhance it very nicely.

Slickness: Not bad for a carnauba, definitely better than S100, but I still like the sealant slickness better. It's "thick" to the touch, as you might expect. Slickness dies off after about two weeks if not maintained with a spray like Danase' Speed Shine or, my favorite, CG Pro Detailer w/carbauba.

Durability: Again, pretty good for a carnauba. Beading keeps on strong for about a month, but I have never left it untopped/uncleaned past that point so I can't tell you exactly how long it lasts.

Overall: Well-rounded, quality paste wax at a very attractive price from our favorite vendor. Can't beat that.

Sorry, nope. :( I find that pics are almost entirely dependent on the prep, lighting, and skill of the photographer. IMO it's difficult to discern differences in LSP's by pics.

I have difficulty seeing the difference in person :|

I just tried this car wax and was pleased with the results. It has a wet look to it but bright in the sun at the same time. Slickness is better than P21s but doesn't have P21s mirror like reflections. I bet the polymers extend the durability of this wax and lets it bond better.

I really need to get my butt in gear with this one. I would love to try it but just haven't gotten around to it. If I were to use up all of the waxes that are in my cabinet before waiting to try it, it would still be 10 years down the road. It sure seems to be priced right.

I used this wax this weekend and loved the results. No pics yet gonna put on a second layer maybe this weekend. It was hard as a brick but goes on very smooth. Smells was pleasant maybe coconut? :? Beads like crazy as we have had a ton of rain this week. After car bath I will put one more coat and a pic if weather permits.

I have to agree with that evaluation. 8) The smell is somewhat chemical, but whatever it is it's good! Has the slickness lasted at all through the rain?

I checked it today when the gf got homw and the slickness is still there. I bet it will get better when I appy the second coat after I wash it. Hopefully the sun will come out. Supposed to be 65- 70 this weekend.

Not yet. I will try and get some this week. Didn't have time to wash and put another coat b/c of the holiday and family was in. Ended up cleaning up my rents '06 Lincoln LS. Gonna polish it over Christmas when I go home.

Sherman, does it tend to darken paint like Natty's Blue?

I haven't used the Blue, so I can't compare...but I would say that it really doesn't have much of a darkening effect. Maybe a little...but for the most part it's bright and in-your-face.

Yeah, it won't make darker colors darker but brighter/more reflection.
