Hey everybody. I have a Traxxas T-Maxx 2.5 Nitro truck that I've had since Feb. 2003 and I just don't use it anymore. I have upwards of $600 invested in this truck from the initial purchase and miscellaneous items to get the truck on the road. I am willing to sell it if someone on here is interested in buying it.

Things that would be included:
-Truck with all stock parts
-Small roll cage to protect engine
-Battery charger
-Tools
-Glo plugs
-Fuel filler
-EZ Start

More info found here:

The truck is basically stock. I have ballooned the servos for protection, painted the wheels red, added the roll cage and I think that's all. I had the one way bearing fail on me so I had the engine rebuilt for that. I didn't run it much after that but recently I have began working on it and had it running a few weeks ago. I basically don't have the patience or time to work on or play with it anymore. So if you are interested let me know!

This is what it looks like more or less.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry I can't help you, as I just bought an E-Maxx, but I have a question...How did you "balloon the servos"? The steering servo is just dangling on my Maxx, and I want to somehow make a cover for it. Thanks :)

Mine are fastened to the frame or a support with a couple of screws but I just took a balloon and in the opening I put the servo in, leaving the wires in the opening and then I zip tied the hole shut and reinstalled the screws through the balloon onto the truck. So now they are protected even more so if you run in water or something like that. I probably should have bought the E-Maxx- the nitro has given me many headaces and a big hole in my pocket... but it's sweet having a little truck going 40 MPH by you

Thanks for the explanation.

LOL All R/C cars are headaches and bottomless money pits, but they're still fun as hell. The E-Maxx has some crazy torque (only 25 mph though) and no way I would want to be rebuilding an engine every three runs. Still though, there's a myriad of parts on that truck that can break......

Guys, I fly the RC helis, Way fun. The wife thinks she needs something to run out across the pasture. Told her about the trucks. Last year I built her a air boat with a OS 46, the thing was way fun on the snow.

Let me know if your interested. Like I said, I've had it for 3 1/2 years now and only ran about a gallon through it.
