I have not played in a long time and have been itching to play so I am wondering who here plays?

Been a very long time for me also. My parents had the big 8' table when I was a kid. I loved going to bars, because you get on the 7' tables and you just smoked everyone. 1' doesn't seem like much, but oh what a difference it makes. Never played on a 9', but I'm sure that would seem like a swimming pool.

We always play on 9 footers. It is just about all the pool hall I got to has. We tried to play on the bar table once, he has two of them in the halll, and the game was so off it was not cool. LOL

Yeah, those small bar tables are often not quite "true," and their bumpers often have soft spots in them.
I used to play pool weekly. Then I got into a relationship, then I had less time, then..... well, short version, I haven't been in a pool hall for probably 5 years now. :(
(It was fun being able to do bank shots and "trick shots" when playing "hot shots" that weren't quite as good as they thought they were, though! Now, if I were to try, I'd just embarrass myself, I think. )

I told myself the other day I was starting up again this winter. It would be nice to play at least once a week.

You know I'm up for it.
Remember your still suppose to call if you are going out  I'm in South Lyon now though so we'd have to meet in Westland again or somewhere around there.
